    I learnt from the lesson. I thought it would not work at first. I came back to this page and read the instruction, realize I missed a step. I supposed to turn it once to 55 to 'set' the alarm then turn to my needed time.

    I got tired of replacing batteries and weak magnets on the battery-operated timers. So far, this timer has performed admirably. The magnet is really powerful, and the timer itself functions nicely. Hopefully, it will outlast the rest of the timers.
